I had purchased a NAS server few years ago called Lacie Mini 500GB NAS. This had the Axentra server which supported iTunes, HTTP and I think FTP. It was very very good as now I had all my files on the server and able to access them anywhere in the world.
Sometime around Nov last year our cleaner ladies pushed the box with a broomstick. It stopped working and eversince I had not been able to access the fils on the server. There were important personal documents and bunch of photographs that I had taken with my D60 Nikon camera in the first half of 2008 that I am not able to get back.
The server makes clicking noises which I believe is being made by the harddrive read head.
