Fax Outage September 15, 2008

Since September 13 evening hours the faxes seem to have stopped. I just got to know this on Monday Setpember 15 evening hours when the office did not see any faxes come in.

Also the customers have complained that the fax message they get is that the fax message box is full.

This sort of thing happened once before...
Essentially the mailbox gets full. To get around this I have set up the Ring Central Account Preferences to mail the faxes to the gmail address of the HPCBolingbrook@Gmail.com, And to purge the fax. This works really well as it keeps the inbox empty most of the time while moving the faxes to Google account.

But there another problem, this has to do with the deleted folder or the trash folder of the RingCentral account. This keeps the deleted files and needs to be emptied as well. Which is really knod of stupid if we have to do it manually.

But this is what I did and the faxes should keep coming now.

Resolution: Best Practice is to go to Ring Central Account every week and purge the deleted folder of all messages.
