Setting Up New Employee Payroll, Sept 15

We add a new employee that was trained as an extern for the past couple months. We increased her work load to two days and would like to bring her on full time going forward. This person also requested that she has 3 allowances and would not want us to withhold taxes. As she is a part time employee I imagine we can do that, but we will need to cover ourselves and request that she put this in writing.

Resolution: I have added her to the payroll and marked not to pay state and federal taxes. I believe the program did not withold the taxes but the issue is that it could comoe back to bite us.

Resolution: Best Practice do not waive the tax witholding, you can put in the claims as she requested but it needs to be in a written withholding form. I need to get handle to that form so she can sign the document and give it back to us.
